Finally the softie that I made for the swap is in the mail.
My crooked little owl was sent to Donielle today.
In the process of making the owl, my sewing machine broke and I wanted
to throw the whole thing in the garbage, but I decided just to finish
it and send it on it's way. Now I think she looks kinda cute in
This was my very first softie/original pattern and you can tell when you look closely-that I am indeed a beginner at sewing.
I am going to start a summer Alphabet Along over at Littlebear.
Over the summer I want to make a craft, bake a recipe, read a
book , or just take a photo for every letter in the alphabet.
I think this could be really fun ( you don't have to have kids to do this either)
Let me know and I will add you to the alphabet Along list and hopefully you can share your photos with us.
Until then, I am going to brainstorm some "A" ideas
maybe I was really inspired by a wise old owl.

Sign me up for the alphabet list! And let me know what letter you want me to do.
OT-If I am not mistaken I visited your blog a couple of years ago and saw a post about a Christmas countdown thing you did with socks. Do I have the right person? If so, what pattern did you use and what would be the easiest way for me to find that post again. Thanks.
